TurfTrax on Tour

TurfTrax Managing Director, Mike Maher, and the company’s Head of Racing Services, Michael Prosser, made a brief visit to Copenhagen last week where Maher made a presentation to members of the European & Mediterranean Horseracing Federation (EMHF).

Administrators and suppliers from more than 20 racing jurisdictions converged on the Danish capital for the organisation’s two-day General Assembly beginning on Friday, 7 June and which included a visit to Klampenborg Racecourse for the Dansk Breeders Cup fixture on Friday evening.

During Saturday morning’s presentation Maher showcased TurfTrax’s innovative suite of products and demonstrated how they combine to harvest and process vital data relating to the racing surface and climate to aid track preparation and enable detailed historical analysis.  The occasion also provided Maher with an opportunity to promote the many international sports governing bodies who have already embraced TurfTrax technology.

Prosser said, “It was extremely useful to be able to connect with so many senior racing executives from the wider racing community who face a significant number of common challenges.  The EMFH were superb hosts and we are grateful to them for providing us with a platform from which to demonstrate the solutions TurfTrax can offer to racecourses and sporting venues across the globe.”
